This is one of the oldest Italian Motorbike Clubs: it was founded in 1906 and contributed to the foundation of the Italian Motorcycle Federation. MCP has been the breeding-ground for many great pilots, which became champions, and distinguished itself in a lot of races, such as the “Città di Piacenza” and the “Lugagnano – Vernasca” (Giacomo Agostini was among the competitors). Nowadays there are 200 members, who organize national motorcycle tourism and two famous motorcycle rallies: the “Marathon Night” in June and the “Motogelo” in January. In the Club there is a vintage motorcycle division and a group called “scodellator's”, which organizes rallies, Sunday outings and weekends outside the town.
